The Copyright Law defines copyright as a creator’s exclusive right which automatically arise based on declaration principle after a creation is manifested in a real form with limitation in accordance to regulation.

Thus, the law protects the copyright after the declaration of a creature by the creator.

The copyright consists of moral and economic right.

Moral right is a right that is attached to the creator eternally for :

  1. putting or does not put his name on a copy of his creature regarding the use of his creator publicly.
  2. using his alias name or his pseudonym.
  3. changing his creation in accordance to people’s appropriateness value.
  4. changing the title or sub-title of his creation.
  5. defending his right in case distortion, mutilation, or modification of his creator or other matters which are detrimental to his self-respect or reputation.

Economic right is a right of the creator to obtain economic benefit from the creator’s creation.

Phonogram and computer program are including forms of creation protected by copyright.
